Trump is bad for Korean Americans. Now is our chance to vote him out and put our country on the right track. 

트럼프는 코로나바이러스가 위험한 것을 알고 있었으며, 환자 수가 급증하는 와중에도 미국 국민들에게 ‘독감과 똑같다’며 저절로 사라질 것이라고 말했습니다.

Trump knew that the coronavirus was serious, but told the American people it was “the same as the flu” and would go away on its own, even as cases increased dramatically. 

상당수의 한국계 미국인 영세 사업자들이 코로나19으로 인한 재정 위기 대응 기금이나 지원을 받지 못했습니다. 대기업들이 긴급 구제를 받는 동안, 수많은 영세 기업들이 사라졌습니다. 

Korean-American small businesses have been largely unable to access the funds and support they need during COVID-19. Family businesses are being decimated while big corporations receive bailouts. 

트럼프는 사회보장제도(Social Security) 원조를 중단하려고 하는데, 이로 인해 노인들의 생활이 어려워질 전망입니다.

Trump wants to defund Social Security, hurting our elderly family members. 

트럼프는 문 대통령을 상대하는 것이 정말 싫다고 말했습니다. 그는 한국인들이 "끔찍한 사람들"이라며 미국이 왜 그동안 그들을 보호해 왔는지 모른다고 말했습니다. 트럼프는 결코 한국을 통일하지 않을 것입니다.

Trump said he really didn't like dealing with President Moon from South Korea. He said South Koreans were "terrible people" and that he didn't know why the United States had been protecting them all these years. Trump will never unify Korea.

바이든의 정책은 과학, 일자리, 존엄성, 그리고 공동체를 중요시합니다. 

혐오가 아닌 공동체적 의식을 촉진하겠습니다. 바이든은 백악관뿐만이 아니라 미국 전체에서 혐오를 지양해야 한다고 믿습니다. 바이든의 가족 이민을 지지는 곧 더 많은 영구적인 취업 이민 비자 발급으로 이어질 것이고, 국가별 발급 상한선이 있는 취업비자의 한계점도 해결될 것입니다. 

Community, Not Hate. Biden believes there is no place for hate in the White House and this country. Biden supports family-based immigration for our communities, increasing the number of visas offered for permanent, work-based immigration, and eliminating the limits on employment-based visas by country. 

우리의 아이들과 교육자들에 투자하겠니다. 바이든은 전 국민적 어린이(pre-K)교육, 합리적인 비용의 편리한 아동 복지, 부채 없이 보장되는 2년의 대학 공부 혹은 기술 교육 기간, 그리고 대학 보조금 인상을 시도하여 우리 사회에 보탬이 되고자 합니다. 

Investing in Our Children and Educators. Biden wants to help our communities by supporting universal pre-K education; accessible, affordable childcare; two years of debt-free college or technical training; and increasing grants for college. 

우리의 건강을 지키겠습니다. 바이든은 코로나19 관련 전문가의 자문과 과학적 사실에 의거하여 안전하게 경제를 다시 개방할 것입니다. 바이든은 오바마케어를 유지하고 메디케어와 메디케이드 혜택을 확대 할것입니다.

Protecting Our Health. Biden supports following experts and science on COVID-19, so we can reopen the economy safely. He will preserve the Affordable Care Act and expand Medicare and Medicaid to more people.

경제를 강화시키겠습니다. 바이든은 도로, 다리, 그리고 고속도로 등의 교통환경을 개선시키고, 연구와 기술적 발전에 투자하여 제조업을 강화하고, 국민들이 주택을 임대하거나 매매할 수 있도록 정부의 지원 계획을 세워두었습니다.

Strengthening the Economy. Biden has a plan to strengthen our economy by upgrading the nation’s roads, bridges, and highways; investing in research and development to bolster manufacturing; and providing aid for Americans to buy or rent homes.

소규모 사업체를 돕겠습니다. 오바마-바이든 정부는 주정부 소상인 신용 개선 프로그램(State Small Business Credit Initiative)을 설립해서 소규모 사업체들에 도움을 주었습니다. 바이든은 프로그램을 2025년까지 연장하고, 연방 자금을 두 배로 늘려 30억 달러를 지원할 계획입니다.

Helping Small Businesses. The Obama-Biden Administration created the State Small Business Credit Initiative to support small businesses. Biden supports extending the program through 2025 and doubling its federal funding to $3 billion.

중산층을 보호하겠습니다. 바이든은 연간 소득이 $400,000미만인 사람들에게 더 많은 세금을 납부할 것을 요구하지 않습니다. 오히려 십여 종류의 감세 혜택을 추가하여, 재정 지원이 필요한 사람들에게 도움이 될 것을 다짐합니다.  

Protecting the Middle Class. Biden won’t ask those making under $400,000 per year to pay more taxes. Biden also supports adding more than a dozen middle class tax cuts that will finally give working families the financial support they deserve.
